This recipe was not one I would normally choose to make. In the spirit of my project, I decided to give it a whirl. I had saved some of “Fezzik’s Stew” for the filling. I ended up chopping the stew up a bit, and going heavy on the meat with less of the veggies. My skill at working with pie crusts is something that needs improving. Even so, I think I did a decent job of making these hand-held snacks.
I will probably not make these again. Even though they tasted good, it was more trouble than it was worth (in my opinion). I needed to save some of the stew from a previous recipe, and it was labor-intensive. I will give this a score of 6. Jimmy gave these an 8. I guess if I didn’t have to do the actual cooking, I’d give these an 8 as well. So, let’s meet in the middle, and assign this recipe a score of 7.
