I was thrilled to receive “The Princess Bride, The Official Cookbook” by Jenn Fujikawa for a Christmas present. The movie is my all-time favorite, and the book is my new favorite cookbook. I have yet to make any of the recipes. I’ve decided to make my way through all of the recipes in 2023. In scanning through the book, I will be expanding my horizons and using some new equipment and ingredients. For example, I had never heard of butterfly pea flower powder called for in the “Inconceivable” drink. I will also need to acquire a paella pan and a tart pan. The “Buttercup Buttermilk Scones” recommends serving them with jam and Clotted cream. This will be fun!
