I generally like meatloaf, but Jimmy not so much. I took a chance, and made the Mawidge Meatwoaf anyway. It was easy to prepare, but took over an hour to cook. It tasted all right, and we rated it a seven. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. Some gravy or other sauce would have made it better.
In discussing this meal with Jimmy, I discovered that he didn’t realize my plan is to make all of the recipes in the cookbook. He is not keen on that plan. There are some recipes that I am sceptical about, so when I make those, I will plan a backup dish “just in case.”
