Today was day 5 of 17 before my surgery. 13 more to go! I met all of my daily goals:
- Log my food in the Noom app
- Eat a “green” food at each meal
- Walk at least 5000 steps
- Peddle on my Cubii for at least 30 minutes
- Read the Noom lesson of the day
- Write a blog post
I was still pretty tired today. I guess it’s because the knee and hip pain has been keeping me awake. I hop I sleep better tonight. I did much better on my diet to day. I recently joined the American Legion Auxiliary, and the monthly meeting was tonight. Since it’s the last meeting before summer break, dinner was provided. Luckily the menu was reasonable. I spent some time after the meeting talking with some of the ladies. Many of them have had knee replacement surgery, and gave me lots of good advice. One thing I had not thought about is a “leg lifter” to help get your leg up onto the bed. It was suggested for my hip replacement, but I never felt the need to get one. We’ll see how it goes with the knee. They hospital may even provide one.
I did a little work today: I made some telemarketing calls for Jimmy, and I watched a few lessons in my online WordPress class. I want to get through that (I’m nearing the end) before I start another video class on Photoshop. I also finished the socks I’ve been knitting for what seems like forever. They are for Jess’ nephew. I’d also knit some socks for Jess’ sister. I will put them in the mail in the next few days.
Time to call it a day.
